What could I do after reading that? I was horrified and was in particular thinking of the two younger girls at the one year course. I sent them an email saying I had read new information and was very worried about them. I also begged – please if they don’t feel things are right, to get out immediately.
The email was received with understanding, curiosity and panic that my own emotions would be felt by Kert. It seems that he had told the group not to have any contact with me – that I was ‘evil’ – along with Vicki and Andrew who had been banned from the course before it even started. I wanted to laugh and cry! Evil??? Did they really think he would know I was in contact with them???
I thought of all my friends there – most of whom were no longer in contact with me. Yes – they had fallen under the spell. I thought about the houses that were sold, loans taken out etc. to afford the year long course. What would they gain – and what would they lose?
I did get a small amount of information. There certainly were sessions – long sessions – where the group and Kert would work on a particular person – if they were out of line. These sessions could be all day long – breaking down the person until they ‘conformed’ – brainwashing sessions.
I did find out that the two younger girls were doing some research – and one eventually left after about six months. A court case was pending regarding money paid, but I have no idea what happened.
I also found out that at the end of the time – there were NO horses left there. Kert had managed to get rid of all of them – with the owners taking them home…. or sending them…….away…………. on instruction from Kert – more about that later.
Vicki and Andrew, who had moved to Europe – and then been banned for the course for asking questions – were in contact with one or two of them and became – in part -a source of support for the girl who left – and her family.
There were many broken promises and much heartache. But perhaps there were good things – I don’t know. I do wish one of the students would write about their year – and if any of them are reading this – maybe they will.
